I have a 94 Prelude. Everytime I start my car in the morning, my idle won't keep still and also the speedometer. Does anyone know the problem with it?

What exactly is going on with the speedometer? Rough idle while cold is likely caused by a bad FITV (fast idle thermo valve).

The speedometer will jump like the idle when you first put it in drive but, it will go away when you start to move a little.
