Icon2 Ring/Valve issue?

I have a D15 that either has a bad ring or bad valve. I am going to do a compression test when I get a tester. I am wondering what I would need to do to fix this problem. I narrowed it down to the 2 cyl by removing plug wires while the CRX was running. Cyl 1 almost made the car die, with 3 and 4 also. It is fowling the spark plug right away. Am I missing something obvious? What is a sure tell sign that its the ring or valve, first time working on a honda engine. THANKS

Icon2 ???

Compression in all 4 cyl is around 175 psi so I know its not the rings or the valves... SO why would it feel like I'm running on 2 cyls? lol... I have checked spark and I am getting spark to all 4 cyls. I have checked my inkectors and all 4 are working fine.... anyone? I cant think of what it would be.

I say you do a cylinder leak down test...that would be a better test.
What kind of noise is it making?

Im going to replace the cap and rotar tonight and see if that makes a difference. Basically it is very sluggish when starting out, almost to the point where i would die if i didn't accelerate. its not making liffter or rod noise, no knocking. but almost like its on 3 cyl. so i dont know how to imitate the sound but bu bump bu bump bu bump.... lol till i give it gas. and then it accelrates very very slow. Full gas is really like half... very shakey when starting out too.

Just changed the oil last night, and its not smoking at all. After doing a few things I'm just test driving it up and down the block.

OK well from what i can tell, you might have a bad bearing, which is making that bump/thump sound. I saw you keep your eye on the oil level.
