Will FD2 Civic R 18 inch wheels fit DC2R?
You should also check what size tires anyone is using with those wheels. The smallest size commonly available for 18" wheels is 215/35-18, and that's not only wider than stock, but also bigger in diameter by over 2 percent (a half inch), which is significant. I'm guessing they will rub unless you roll your fenders and/or remove the wheel well liners (but I haven't tried it)...
Years back, I ran an Ace Monaco 18 x 7.5 +45 with a 215/35 18 with a 1 inch drop on my 2nd R #281 for a short while and it only rubbed the right rear quarter panel lip under hard turns, the ride quality and overall handling sucked, the rim and tire combo overwhelmed the car.
As far as the FD wheels go, the only thing I can tell you is that the recomended tire size is 225/40 18.

to compare with my stock dc2r wheels the car was fine, as swoon as i put these on, the clutch would slip at high rpm due to the weight.......lol
