I have a 95 coupe ex stock motor with only 110k on it . Ever since i bought it the redline always cut at 6200 rpm i have tried switching out the ecu to another p28 and even tried a jdm p30 but the same result .Why wont my car rev up to 7200 rpm ??

 

do you have a cel? Its probably a sensor problem...as always. you might try a search theres a lot of these kinds of problems floating around

yes a d16z6 should be able to rev to 7200 rpms...i would check to make sure all your sensors are good and your tune up is recent.

 

how can i check all the sensors if there is no check engine light showing any of them wat would u recomend start

 

why u want to rev that high its a single

 

maby it has something to do with fuel

 

because its suposed to rev that high stock

 

it's a hell of a lot easier if you had a scan tool to read tps values.
