Icon3 Starting problem: 89 Crx Si w/ dohc zc swap.

alright, after 3 months with this motor, it runs strong, it pulls, and its very reliable [until today]

on the way to work, driving normal and not speeding, my motor suddenly shuts off.
i didnt hear any noises at all, my radio was off and my window was cracked open. the car was warmed up to normal idle [750-800 rpms] before driving it.

i pull over and try to start it again, it wont start.
checked fuses and grounds, it wont start.
no engine light or cel or any battery/brake light on.
check the ecu on my friends car and its good.
i have half a tank of gas.
my friends and i tried to push start it and it almost started, but nothing.

i feels as if im not getting spark, so i replaced the cap and rotor.
still nothing.

has anyone have that kind of problem before?
i need help, my crx is the only transportation i have and i need it running asap.

thanks in advance.

tomorrow i will be replacing the main relay and distributor with new cap/rotor.

ill see where that get me.

im pretty sure i didnt blow my piston rings, or valve train, etc. that motor was slightly rebuilt, and was running very healthy.

so if its not the dizzy or main relay, what else could it be?

check for spark if no spark then check all fuses under hood and dash most probobly the dist. coil or ignitor. buy rebuilt one at autozone and it will come with a life time warranty

You need the same distributor as the 89 Integra.
