Where did you get this done? There are not many places in Toronto that have the equipment to do a proper rebuild?

i had the block sent out to be honed, it got replaced with OEM standard size rings that was recommended by the machine shop and he replaced the valve seals. as for assembly my meachanic and myself along with the service manual assembled the engine

White smoke or light blue smoke? Soot on the bumper is from fuel smoke (black)

by a compression tester and do the leakdown yourself. its really not that hard. there is tons of info about it on the net. if your not comfortable with that pretty much any auto repair shop can do it. and the general rule is white is coolant/water black is rich/fuel and blue is oil. coolant could be the headgasket and the black soot could be the coolant in your exhaust loosening up and blowin out the carbon build up in your exhaust.

i look back in my rear view, while driving i can see the smoke i cannot tell if is light blue or white. i will check on the bumber. and yes there is black soot on the bumber. the headgasket along with all the other gaskets were replaced with OEM. the coolant is green. thanks
