I assume its cold where you live.

I just posted this on page #2 of here. Read post #8.

https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/e-brake-light-my-display-cluster-stays-when-really-cold-outside-2432950/

Also the PP.com link that someone posted here already refers you to a post by me as well.

That would be your fix for it I have to say.

When the brake fluid gets too low, that light goes on... and thats very bad. Take care of that.

thats the brake fluid like 97 ej6 just posted. fill it to the brim. I assume you know the differencebetween the e-brake light and the brake lamp lightthat tells you one of you brake lights are out. My 93 Prelude Si has the brake lamp light on all the time due to a faulty ground, not to be confusedwith the emergency brake light.

Yes it is the bigger of the 2 and that is only if you have a 5spd. The smaller is the clutch fluid res.

I hope you have a 5spd.

What?

It is on the same side as the driver sits. Left hand drive, res on the left side. Right hand drive, res is on the right side.

I think people are confusing two different lights. There is the "Brake Lamp" light which tells you when one of your brake lights are out. And then there is the E-brake light which comes on when your E-brake is up or when the brake fluid in the master cylinder reservoir is low.

And technically the abs has a reservoir and is on the passenger side.

I believe this is correct. Mine stays on when I start the car for a while then finally goes off after a few miles. I have factory 3rd brakelight in the rear window but also on the spoiler. I don't know which one is connected but one is and one isn't. The one that isn't is causing that light to trigger. My ebrake is certainly not up and brake system is 100%.
