Miss fire on cylinder 2?
So my check engine light came on last week on my 98 ls (stock) and of course living in NY we have stupid emmisions and I need inspection at the end of month. So I had my buddy scan the car and it said it was miss firing on cylinder 2. So I went and did full tune up thinking this would take of problem still no luck.Any one have any ideas? The only other thing I can think is maybe distributor?Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi, I have a 00 Ls (stock) integra and having the same problems....But my is miss firing on cylinder 3 and I change out the spark plugs wires, 4 spark plugs, and rotor and caps. Drove the car for 3 days and now the check engine light came back on. anyone can help me? =(
Did you use OEM Honda wires? Usually a seperate misfire is due to a wire. Aftermarket wires are not of the same quality as oem many times, and this may be the problem. One way to check would be to switch the complete wire to another cylinder on both the dizzy and the spark plug. If the code changes to the other cylinder misfire, then the wire is the issue. You may also want to check for water or oil in the spark plug wire "hole." That can also lead to a misfire. I have never heard of anything other than an ignition system issue causing this code...Good luck!

Yes, I use all oem Honda Parts!
Parts that I replaced:
Spark plugs wires (oem) From Honda
Spark plugs 4 (oem) From Honda
Rotor and Caps (oem) From Honda
Don't know what else could be the problem?
how many miles are on theses cars, maybe you should do a compression check if you know somone that has the tools to do it (thats just an easy check if you know somone and dont have to pay for it)
I've got 94,543 miles as of today and I'm thinking about trying to change out the dizzy to see if the check engine light would stay off?
