Default Exedy Clutch Racing Stage 1

I was driving home from work and suddenly the car wouldn't want to go into gear anymore. I also noticed a noise coming from the transmission whenever I would press down on the clutch. At first I thought it was a bad throw out bearing..

closer up

If it wasn't for this damage I could have easily taken the clutch another 50k+ miles. The clutch still had a lot of meat on it. It almost looked brand new.

it's pretty common. an exedy stage one is just a oem disk with a beefed up pressure plate. so when you drive it hard, this will most likely happen... most of the time. just replace the disk
