Thats the 'Fernagle' valve.

It controls the wazzit gears before it engages the Neutron lever!

it is a pressure switch, one port is hooked up to the line and at a certain pressure it will turn on or turn off something.

Yep. Opens up the circuit and shuts off nitrous solenoids if your fuel pressure drops off.

Sure, if you wire in a relay to your ignition wiring.

Seriously, a proper set up and you won't have to worry about it. But if you have some sort of justified concern, wire a pezio buzzer to a pressure switch and take your foot off the gas if you ever hear it, otherwise just watch your boost gauge.
