Default OEM 94-97 Foglight related question.

Just have a question on this piece on the USDM Switch Harness. Can you identify it and help by telling me where it goes? Thanks guys.

thats the relay that'll go with your lights. i hear of a lot of people bypassing it. what it'll do is it'll only let your fogs come on when you lights are on. similar to the 90-93 fog lights. what you could do is tap into a acc wire so whenever your key is in the "on" position, you'll be able to use your fogs.

It's the fog relay. Just bolt it up to any bolt under the dash. I used the same bolt as the main relay.

I just wired it up and I guess I did something wrong. I press the button for the lights to come on. The indicator light lights up on the switch but the fogs do not light. I tried this both with the headlights on and off.

I did not try it with the high beams. Just the low lamps. I did plug this wire in. As well as the ground.

I plugged that into one of the blank spots on the fuse box. I'm not sure where the headlight control switch is.
I plugged the wire in here.

on the harness that plugs into the fog lights on one end and plugs into that brown clip with the blue/red wire on the foglight side of that harness should be a ground wire where do you have that hooked up also where do you have that realy with the ground wire near it mounted at are the bulbs good or bad

All of the grounds are wired. The ground wire under the hood is wired to the radiator support. The ground for the switch harness is against a bolt next to the hood release switch. Did I plug the red wire in the right area? I don't think one of those "blank" spots is the headlight control switch.

Do I have to heat these in the oven order to replace the bulb? I've looked everywhere for a "DIY/How to" in order to open these up and replace the bulbs. When I move the lights around it sounds as if the bulbs inside are indeed broken. Can you guys help? Some of the screws are stripping as well.

Well I figured out how to open up the light to check the bulbs. Easier than I thought. I'm falling in love with these things even before I've seen them light up haha. Well one of the bulbs was indeed broken. My question. Would this cause both of them to not light up?

Possibly. I keep thinking I'm just wiring them wrong.
