I can use the obd2 intake mani with all the sensors and will bolt up to the gsr wiring harness or will i need a manual intake mani and/or an ls wiring harness.

if you can you should just do a rebuild of the gsr motor instead having to have the hassle of switching your motor out and your wiring harness..

The bottom end is toast its easier to sell my gsr trans and whole vtec swap and bare motor off instead of cleaning all the metal from the bottom end and get a new crank and pistons/rods.

i should be able to use my own gsr harness for the ls am i correct will it fit?

You will need:
-ls distibutor
-ls ecu
-ls intake manifold (complete with injectors, sensors, TB would be nice)
-ls throttle cable (to be correct, unless you want to use the GSR TB)
-ls wiring harness, but the GSR can be used...you will just have a few unused plugs...no biggie.

Many times you can get an ls longblock complete with all of these things for a reasonable price, but in case you don't find a complete longblock, you will need the things listed. Good luck!

Sweet thats what i thought

its just cheaper for me to sell the gsr stuff off even though my teg is a gsr caus ei can get a ls motor for 150

Is there any way i can use the gsr throttle cable with the ls? Will it matter the throttle cable and intake mani on the ls is auto trans? (i know this is a problem on mini me swaps not sure about b series)

Can i use the p72 obd 1 gsr ecu on the ls till i can find a manual p75? cause the only p75 i have is for a auto

Can the p72 vtec gsr dizzy be made to work on a ls motor even if one of the bolt dont line up or it only lets me put 2 bolt in it?

1. Yes you can use the GSR throttle body on an ls intake manifold, and keep the throttle cable mounted the same way...it does sit a little higher, and I have heard of people saying that it looks silly, and it may hit the hood when the hood is shut, but it will work fine.

2. It does not matter whether the intake is from an automatic ls. They are the same as a manual.

3. Using the P72 will give you a few CELs, because of the extra things it will be looking for on the B18B1, that won't be hooked up (mainly VTEC, and the sensors associated with it). I would not use it, but I believe it will run the car. Just an FYI: a P06 from a civic dx/lx 5 speed will run it fine with no adverse effects, and they can usually be had for cheap, although if you are going to spend the money, you might as well just get the P75 for the $50 they usually fetch.

4. I believe the dizzy will work, but you are correct in thinking that only two bolts will line up. Again ls distributors are cheap, so you may as well just get one...selling the GSR ecu and distributor alone may pay for this $150 ls and the few parts needed...just a thought.

A final thought...although you can "make things work" sometimes for the extra $200 total it may cost you to get the few parts you need (throttle cable, intake manifold, distributor, harness, etc.) it may be worth your while just to go ahead and do that. I sell a lot of parts like this to people and if someone came to me needing those parts and I had them in stock we'd be looking at:
OBD1 B18B1 harness - $50
distributor - $50
ecu - $50
ls intake manifold complete with throttle cable - $50

good luck!

not sure where you live but look into trading your gsr head for a complete ls swap. that includes everything you need. straight up trade if you ask me.

why don't you build an ls vtec. you can keep your computer, wiring, IM, still have vtec. that's what i would do.
