I just picked up a 1990 CRX Si with a D15B. When i got it, it needed a clutch so since the tranny was going to be out i decided to do a wire tuck. I also repainted the engine bay and relocated the battery to the trunk. Well, once i finished that i started up the car and i let it idle for a bit.. after about 15 mins the car turned off and wouldn't turn back on till like 20 mins later after just sitting there. Then i turned it on again and drove it right away. Once i would step on it (above 5k rpm) the car would turn off and wouldn't turn on till like 20 mins later again. The car still turns off after like 15 mins of idling...
I was told to replace several things and this is what i've replaced so far...
- Fuel Pump
- Distributor cap and rotor
- p28 ECU (it had an AUTO ecu so i picked up a stick shift one)
- Sparkplugs
- Distributor cables
- Main Fuel Relay
- Relay box
I don't know what else to do!!!
After the car turns off i checked the current on the injector clips and there's none once the car sits ther for like 20 mins i checked the current on the injector plugs again and everything seems fine there's current going to the injectors.
Other important info: My check engine light has been on but i don't know how to check the codes, The car has a OBD0-OBDI harness jumper. The distributor and Intake manifold is OBD0 and the motor and the ECU (p28) are both OBDI.

thats a hard one, but my guess is the distibutor itself the tdc, or cps, thats all built in to the dizzy. to check see if a friend will let u use one of theres or buy a used on and just test it out the same thang happened to my 91 integra and i replaced everything that u did and still wouldnt start so i put the new dizzy on its about 200 brand new at autozone...hope this helps
If you drilled any holes to run the wires through then you should cheCc those to see if maybe there is a sharp edge pinching off your wires....if your having that many problems then it is most likely electrical as I found out the other day.....replaced main relay bought fuel pump but didn't have to use it cuhz I hard wired the fuel pump so I knew it was working. After that the car still would not start so it was time to cheCc for spark.....there was none so naturaly I think distributor but was broke so I called a friend and he said either distributer or your wire tuCc (he said electrical but i knew what he meant) is the problem........
I cheCced all the spots where I ran my wires next to metal (I didn't extend any) and sure enough there was a shape piece of metal like this ^ poked in the bottom of the giant bundle of wires runnning through a newly drilled hole in my fire wall!!!!!! All I had to do was lift up the wires and put a piece of a towel between them until I got home, have not had that problem since...........
cheCc your wires otherwise you'll be spending a lot of money to replace perfectly good parts then have a for sale post for the others!!!!!
If you don't find any wires touching try to borrow a friends wires harness and see if the problems continue, if not then it is indeed some part of the wire tuCc...

this is a hard one to help you on due to the fact the vehicle isnt in front of us.
the problem do sound like a relay, but u've already replaced that.
next would be cps:crank positioning sensor
maybe its very worn out. but like bfatdaintegra said, if its built into the dizzy you would need to get a known good one and try that.
but my last guess would be a ignition switch going out.
when i worked at a honda dealship there were ignition switch recall on most honda's.
i cant remember what the recall was. ( its been like 4-5 years now)
hope this helps
