Why don't you just keep the stock manifold for now until you go turbo? That would be the cheapest route.

I would be careful about how cheap you go. You might run into problems with it either not sealing properly, warping, or possibly cracks at the weld points. I have had a DC header on my Prelude for a few years now with no problems. You might want to check into Megan Racing. IMO they are the best quality for what you are looking to spend.

or just try and source a used stock exhaust manifold if your plan is to go turbo, no sense on spending money for something you are going to replace. Post in the WTB section and see if somebody has an extra one lying around and use that extra money to TUNE your turbo car! lol good luck with the build.

I've been running an eBay header for probably a year or more now. No problems. I wouldn't bolt up the two bolts that support it on the bottom.

It'll be fine...especially if ur only running for a short time

I have the cheapest one i could find on ebay at the time. It was $125 shipped...with 2 resonators, one of which was "supposed" to be a muffler (i'm glad it wasn't)

It came with ALL gaskets and bolts needed, and the header + smaller resonator bolted together with NO problem, and it bolted to my stock exhaust. OHHH....and it came with o2 plugs.

Its been on there OVER 2 years in rain/shine Florida, and the only place that's rusting is where I caved it on on a drive way backing out.

I've had the gaskets blow out, but i just used copper gasket spray to put the flanges against each other, and no exhaust leaks.

The bracket that bolts to the back of the block OBVIOUSLY doesn't line up, but it doesn't on some expensive aftermarket headers either.

Cliff's Notes - It'll be just fine. And i made 183whp/151wtq on a basemap that was tuned for someone else's car with this same, crushed header and a dirty air filter
