Default Changed thermostat, now spedo and tach are acting funny

92 prelude w/ jdm f22b

I just changed out my thermostat, topped the coolant up, and bled the system. I did not completely drain all the old coolant, but just topped what leaked out. I also took the TB and FITV off to cleaned them out with intake spray.

On the drive home, the first few blocks the ABS light kept flickering on and off, and I could hear a relay (not sure which one) clicking like mad. This went away after a few blocks but it could be related.

The spedo didnt work at all for the first few blocks, then started bouncing +/- 10km/h from what I was doing. Like I would be doing 30km/h and it would bounce between 20 and 40. After a few blocks it would read accurately, but drop down to 0 every time I shifted/cluchted, then back up to the speed I was doing.

Same thing was happening with my tach, it was acting wierd for the first few blocks, then would start reading normally except for when I shifted, when it would drop to 0, then come back when I was in next gear.

Is there a sensor I should check that maybe I forgot to reconnect?

Remove, clean, and replace the ground on the thermostat housing. That's normally the culprit if you're having multiple gauge issues.

DOHC F22B.

There was no ground on the thermostat housing. I did not take one off when I removed the housing, only the 2 12mm bolts. Is the thermostat housing the ground or does it need to be grounded. If it is the ground point for something, what do I need to ground?
