Almost finished with my D15Z1 engine swap, but now have CEL and it's not running right.

Default Almost finished with my D15Z1 engine swap, but now have CEL and it's not running right.

I still need to install my radiator and wire up the map and oxygen sensors. I figured it would run without those two sensors, at least better than it does. Right now, it started pretty easily but throttle application has no effect on it's running, although I was scared of hurting something or backfiring so I didn't press the gas open too much. It just jumped to about 2000 rpms and pulsated up and down 200 rpm.

I know, I'm close, i just need to get an egr control box, and connect that, the map sensor, and the O2 sensor.

However, many of the pinouts I've found are not consistent, I don't know exactly what diagram to go by. I downloaded the Helm's from the FAQ for the 92-95 civic, and so far I can't find what I'm looking for.

btw, I used the TPS from an 88-91 Prelude MPFI throttle body. I don't have it adjusted exactly yet, but I imagine that my problems are something else. The check engine light was illuminated while running, and I tried to ground D7 so that the CEL would blink, but nothing happened? Maybe I'll try again tomorrow and try and sand of the paint somewhere so I can get a really good ground.
