Default Problems after GSR swap

did a full GSR swap into my del sol and the check engine light comes on when the engine is warmed up and throwing codes for:

- map sensor
- Throttle position sensor
- O2 sensor

Tach is goin crazy and the engine randomly sputters until i let off gas for a sec and resume accelleration.

Before I replace the sensors, does anyone konw of anything that can cause power issues to these sensors or if problems with one of the sensors can interrupt the other 2? thx.

yea the tps is the reason why its sputtering and the map and o2 are running in loop so the flooding the engine with gas to protect it self from running lean.

the problem here is obvious... the easiest thing to do would be replace them.

make sure the map and tps sensor isn't swapped, also what type of map code is it throwing? a code 3 or code 5?

it's throwin codes 1 (o2), 3 (map), and 7 (TPS)

I know it would be easiest to replace them, but want to see if anything else could cause this before i replace sensors that might not be bad.

Exactly what I was thinking BUT, you didn't say connector.

OP make sure the TPS and MAP sensor connectors aren't switched around.

when you are checking the map and the tps both function about the same. you have 3 wires.
1. 5v refrence
2. ground that is supplied by the ecu normally green with a black stripe
3. signal wire

basicly as vacuum changes resistance changes in the sensor so when snapping the throttle you should see a change in the voltage coming out of the sensor. the map sensor is the only one you have to do while running, with the tps just go key on and slowly open the throttle while watching the voltage change on you meter. you should see a very smooth change never jumping around or exceeding 5v if you have more than 5v on your signal wire then you have a short somwhere or the resistor inside the ecu is bad. more than likely you dont have any bad sensors you may have them switch around (plugs I mean) or there is a problem with the 5v refrence which both sensors share. if you get all that figured out or want to go further into it let me know so I dont sit here and take up the whole page. gl
