The other day i had taken out the tranny to find out that my slave cylinder was leaking fluids. How would i tell if my master cylinder needs to also be replaced as well? Thanks for the support

Usually when the clutch master cylinder is failing, it'll leak fluid onto the inside of the firewall, right where if comes through from the engine bay. Get in your floorboard with a flashlight to see if you've got drips of fluid running down the firewall.

How bout if there is signs of fluids leaking onto my clutch pedal? Would that be a sign of leakage in my master cylinder? Thanks

if you're going to change out the slave cylinder, it is recommended that you change out the master cylinder at the same time
