Default Please Help-Tranny specialist Needed (SoCal)

I have a ITR that needs to be looked over by a tranny specialist. I've always done the work myself except when it comes to the tranny, I'm clueless when it comes to knowing anybody who does quality work. So if anybody can please refer me to a good trust worthy shop who does quality work please shot me any info. Im located in riverside and i really dont trust diving my car to far at the moment anything close is good. Greatly appreciated thank you..

You can sell him the Mf parts and gear speed can put it together for him

I've been looking into the MF gears and when Im ready I will let you know, I like how MF uses better materials for the gears.

"Achieve the ultimate in acceleration with the MFactory Close Ratio Gears. Diamond Cut to exacting tolerances from fully Carburized Forged Nickel-Chromoly Steel and put through our own proprietary heat treatment process, you will not find a stronger, more reliable product on the market. Our special treatment process makes our gears several times stronger & tougher than OEM Gears and are specifically designed to endure the demanding requirements of high-power track/drag cars."

My labor is cheaper than Gearspeeds. Cost would be about the same after shipping. But he'd be supporting an Expo sponsor. I digress though.

PM me on your setup and what gears you're looking into.

Im not ready though . I have a third gear grind, its not too harsh yet, ( syncro ) that I have been babying that I would like to fix. I don't drive the car hard it usually is in the garage, car has 65k on the clock. I also want to up grade the limited slip diff and clutch.

Man Im going too deep into this. I need to concentrate on school, I have a capstone project due in 4 weeks ugh

You'll get a PM from me soon though about transmission stuff

Probably the hub/slider. I very rarely see worn synchros. As I tell Ryan, quit school. Its the first step to a healty downward spiral.

When driving as I shift into 2nd gear I get this rattling sound. Noise only no vibration as I hold the shift ****. Every gear other then second gear seems to be okay, but who knows what problems might be in the near future. If anybody has any idea what im talking about please inform me on what the it might be. thanks for the support. Any track events coming up in Southern California?
