I just got this 93 and i was going to just buy an engine but my dad told me he already redid the heads for it and the Crank shaft needed to be bedone. My question is it worth having this engine rebuilt is just buying an H22?
What is the differnce btween my motor and the h22?

 

the H23 is a 2.3 litre non-vtec and the H22 is a 2.2 litre vtec

 

You have a lot to learn bro but for starters.

The h23a1 is non-vtec dohc 9.8:1 compression.

I undestand all that i just dont getthe whole H22, 23 ect. What is VTEC?
WHat does it do? Cause my wife 05 civic had vTec and it was slow as hell.
