Its just a d16y7 in my dd and i really dont feel like spending a ton of a money. Its burning oil pretty fast so can i just slap some piston rings on it? The car has 182,000 miles on it its and ek hatch and it came from canada is this the stock motor for a hatch from canada also?

 

First off, are you sure it's actually burning through the oil and not just leaking in out?
