hey, my passenger window in my em1 stopped going up or down. i think its the switch so i was told that i should replace the driver side switch and not the passenger side. i just need to clarify this before i buy the switch its like $50! thanks

 

does your drivers side window roll down/up your window? does your passenger do it either? it is rare that both of your switches dont work...if neither one works then check the motor/regulator.

 

test the motor first.
get a battery and test it.
check fuse

 

fuse has been checked, dont know how to check motor and both switches dont work for the window

take the door panel off.
Disconnect the window motor harness.
Get 2 jumper wire, one positive and one negative.
get a battery or jumper box.
If the motor moves, then you know is good.
