Default B20 VTEC........

Hey guys...I just wanna make sure before I go buying this...I was gonna throw and LS VTEC in my 97 EK but i think ima go with a B20 VTEC, its the same concept as LS VTEC just with a B20 Block right? Which would be better?

yeah same concept...different block. well obviously the b20/vtec will make more power because the displacement. it makes some good power.

Im gonna most like throw a type r head on it but i was also wondering what harness would i use to put this into my EK?

you can use a 99-00 si harness...that would work. or ****...even a 96-00 civic ex harness should work as long as it has the knock sensor, 4 wire o2, and of course...mad vtakkkk plugs yo. if you have those things you should be set. IMO you should convert it to obd1 and get it chipped for the b20/vtec. no stock ecu is gonna run this as well as something custom chipped specifically for it.

hm.......i was told running a JDM type r ecu would work best..
