Default b18b n/a experts needed....

Hey..I was looking throught the board and came across a bunch of post talking about b18b n/a power. In alot of these post members said that it would be fairly easy to have a fast car if the engine was in a hatch. Well that might be the road I go down with my car. ls swaps can be found really cheap!

What will I need to have a fast eg hatch with a b18b motor n/a. I was thinking somewhere in the 13's. The thing is I dont know a thing about these engines and parts out their. So can someone come up with a setup.

I mean I know i/h/e but what brands are the best for this engine.
I am would go with crower cams and valvetrain
are there oem pistons I can put in to up the compression. If so what pistons?? What compression is sane for this motor seeing it already has a very low compression if I upped it to 11 to 1 would it not be stable?? So please help me out.

Thanks

port and polish head, Intake manfold, throttle body and throw in toda spec c's with toda valve springs and retainers. Then stroke the block to 2.0 and proceed to the dyno for tuning and bam low timeslips and you'r broke!!! (or I would be you may be ballin so I dont know? )

BTW: you never said nothing about budgets or anything so I just gave you one way to do it

That would be a good setup if you got the money. You could be stable with a 11:1 cr. Try this link to see compression setups http://www.bojangs.com/calculator/

ummm b18b...not c motors buddy.... Iam starting to think that this setup wont work eaither..was looking more in the integra section and a bunch of people didnt recommend running n/a with the b18b motor. **** this sucks I think Iam gonna have to be forced to go the c5 route but I really dont want to it is so mundayne(spelling) everyone has a b swap. Ahhhh anyone think this setup might be worthit. mY budget after getting the motor installed would be around 3 to 4 grand and I dont want nos or turbo.

there is a guy on here that has an N/A b18b he daily drives the bitch and i think it runs 12.2 or something i know 12 not exactly sure on the tenths though go to the hybrid forum i would suggest some high compression new rods maybe even alil bit of a bore then some nice cams with P&P every thing else on the head a b16a tranny aftermarket IM and throttle body maybe an gsr oil pump should get you into the low 13 high 12 depending on your driveing ability and such.
i see u live in washington im gona be moving to pullman in about 2 weeks for school can't wait
