Default Issues with wiring OEM style eBay Fogs

Just got my yellow-lens Fog light set yesterday to replace my old, broken and long since removed clear ebay fogs for my 2001 Civic.

Now im running into issues with the wiring (since the original wiring from the 1st set has been removed a long time ago).

I followed this DIY exactly: http://www.civicforums.com/for....html

Im having issues trying to figure out why the whole unit is not getting power and all fuses have been check and are good.

Should I just hardwire them on a switch w/o a relay?

I think you ment THIS link, the one you posted is for blue led gauge conversions...

Okay are the grounds properly connected? As well as have you tested the positive input actually having power... it's hard to tell with the write up (I don't own a 7th gen) but it seems like there is something missing...

i would not hardwire lights to just a switch.
the switch would most likely overheat and melt.
just my 2 cents but you can do what you want with your car.

ebay fogs? https://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1812043

do not wire it directly to the switch, switch would probably melt.
