I'm not even sure what you're asking? The A/C belt goes around the crank, compressor, and tension pulley... There is nothing else... What is causing you a problem?

im trying to take the belt out but i just found out the motor mount is in the way.

so if i take the motor mount off do i have to put a jack under the motor for support or the other 2 motor mount should hold it?

GRAVITY , yes of course you have to block up the engine if you remove a major mount.

Geez...

Just unbolt the tq mount from the chassis and loosen the driver side upper mount studs so the engine is lowered around 1/2" or so... Thats all.

Replacing belts on my 94 Civic requires removing 2 motor mount bolts, then jacking up the engine enough to slip the belts between the mount & frame to mount them on their respective pulleys.

Only the A/C belt passes around the front left torque mount. The alternator and P/S belts can be removed and replaced without any additional efforts.

I posted to help OP with r&r of belt(s) that requires a workaround of the motor mount, not those that don't. If it doesn't apply to a belt, then obs it doesn't apply. I don't think saying a plural 'belts' by mistake diminished the instruction I provided.

I've replaced the compressor several times & always changed out all the belts at the same time time, so for me 'changing the belts' always requires messing with the engine mount. I'm aware the PS belt doesn't require working around the engine mount. It didn't matter to me if only the compressor or the alternator- or both- required slipping a belt between the frame & mount or not. I don't assume every engine or configuration in every yr model is set up exactly the same as mine anyway.

FYI, I posted my comment while waiting for my spouse to get an MRI done at the hospital. She finished & was rushing me to drive her home. I posted in haste instead of blowing it off & not offering any help at all. I didn't reread & edit to satisfy a perfect standard because there's more going on in my life than posting to help strangers in a DIY forum.

OK rookie... slow down a bit and take a breath. First, I hope your wife is OK. Second, you responded to a 17 year old dead thread... if the OP is still working on this belt replacement, they have absolutely no business working on a car !!! However, since you did respond, I was merely clarifying your post so that future searchers will not be confused by your instructions... not attacking your for technically incorrect information... just helping... just like you.
