Default Urgent!!!!! trunk lid not closing

ok i have to really slame mt trunk a few times before it shuts and when it does shut the rear lights or nothing will not line up is this my trunk lid hinges or what i know it is dented up and what not plz let me know

said that wrong is it my trunk lid, or hinges i know the trunk lid is dented up

Adjust the catch and the latch, for the locking mechanism. You might have to pull the plastic trim piece up to access adjustment bolts.

no....i just bought that car and there aint **** really wrong with it just the trunk lid is a lil bit phucked up

Loosen the bolts on the striker, slide it up a little so you don't have to slam it so hard for the latch to catch. Also adjust the rubber stoppers on the corner of the trunk lid. They help alignment.

My friend had the same problem with his crx The only way we would be able to close it was slamming it about 20 times.
