Default 1990 honda civic dx electrical relays

I am having electrical problems with all of my interior items. Guage cluster (minus the cable speedo), clock, radio, turn signals, rear defroster, etc.... nothing works!!! Could this be a faulty relay??? Please shed some light on relays before I go and blow $40 on one that doesn't fix anything. I've literally tried everything else.

there are no relays for the items you mention - have you checked the fuses in the underhood fuse box? particularly the 50 amp and 60 amp
