you might have to use a small prybar in between where the axle meets the tranny housing, it"ll come out. Make sure its coming out relatively straight too

good point if your pulling it out @ an angle it won't come out. They have a locking clip on the stem of the inner spindle to prevent them from coming out.
Good luck and try what was mentioned above.

if thats doesnt work, you may need to pull the other axle and drive it out from the other side

WRONG their is no space to use anything since the spider gears and the pins are blocking it.
take a hammer and hit the cup it self and then pop it out with the pry bar. it may take a couple of hits on the cup but not to hard ok.
yes this does work i have gotten may mdx and tl's with the same problem and a good whack on the axle and then it will pop out.

d-series del sol..
Rotate the inner CV by hand while trying to pop it out. There is a c-clip at the end of the shaft that holds the axle into the diff. The c-clip get's wedged sometimes. If you can't get it that way, you might have to pull the other axle and pick at the clip through the diff. It's a pain, but if you can get the c-clip to move, then you should be able to pop the axle.

use 2 thicker flathead screwdrivers on opposite sides of the axel, i just went through this BS a few days ago, i find if u apply equal pressure on both sides of the axel it comes out that much easier!!!
