is it too much
i was thinking of putting a single 10 inch alpine type x sub in my 1994 civic coupe
i no its gonna way my car down
but im fine with that
do you guys suggest any other subs with around the same power as the type x
and what would be the best amp to use to power it?

The JL Audio 1000/1v2, Alpine PDX--1.1000 or MRP-M1000 in that order, MTX also has some good amps.
The JL Audio 10w7 is a very good sub, but half the power, the 13W7 is a 1000W sub., again MTX makes some pretty good subs.
