New addict needs civic suspension advice
I raced my first autocross and my little civic got killed. I saw a video of my run and my car is about to tip! I hace a 95 civic cx hatchback with strut tower bars. I'm looking to handle a little better without lowering the car. I'm thinking about kyb agx and a progressive rate spring. How low can my civic be lowered before I need camber plates? I would also like to add sway bars, but my car never came with mounts. Any advice would be great. By the way, this is my daily driver, so comfort on the street is in the back of my mind!

there are many swaybar kits on the market for your car. they would be your first step if comfort is of great importance to you, since they won't reduce ride quality. in my experience, progressive rate springs don't ride any better then regular springs. i think an excellent setup for someone who is concerned with ride quality would be to get some 99-00 si springs and shocks (look on ebay, someone is probably trying to sell their stuff to recoupe some money), then get the itr rear sway bar (you might have to change your lower lca's, a junkyard should be able to help there) and beaks kit. st makes a front sway bar for your car, or you can find some si fr lca's and use the si front sway bar. nice set of wheels and tires and you'd be all set.
