Default 90 DA GSR Swap help needed!!!!!

i have a 90 gs integra, 180,000 miles
im in the process of some major bodywork and interior restoration

i just purchased a gsr longblock and i am unsure about a few things

can i use my axles, they are brand new, it would be nice if they could fit

can i use my stock motormounts, will it just drop right in?

i am using my cable transmission as well

i hear if you don't use a p72 with a gsr stock intake, you will lose power in the midrange powerband. and a p72 harness will not fit with a da chassis

would a chipped p28 work with an aftermarket intake manifold, using an obd0-obd1 conversion harness

i would appreciate the help and anyone who can post pics of their da swaps please do, nothing better in my eyes than a cleaned up, swapped da

here are some pics of my da
like i said its definitely in the works i picked it up for 700 needing bodywork and paint, had a clutch with it, but i had to put it in the kid didnt know how

passenger sides done now, not recent pic, new bumper and headlights now

removed ac stuff

again

temporary brake fix, abs cylinder was cracked, losing brakes every two weeks had to bleed them i will clean it up run new lines when i pull the motor

yes you can, u just gotta use the Intermediate/half shaft as well.

yeah, use the stock DA passenger and driver side mounts, and i forgot about the rear L Bracket, just try the GSR first.

Upgrade to a Different Intake manifold, and use your OBD0 Engine harness, but keep ur alternator and Distributor..the think about the distributer is that u have to chop off a leg

would a chipped p28 work with an aftermarket intake manifold, using an obd0-obd1 conversion harness

i would just suggest getting a Pr3 obd0 vtec ecu. and hit up rywire for the vtec sub harness.

you can use your obd0 internals in the gsr dizzy case. that way you dont have to be ghetto and chop off a leg of the dizzy. you will need the ENTIRE mount from the drivers side, this means the little bracket that bolts to the engine as well. you will need to run wires for vtec and possibly the knock sensor (i dont know if obd0 ecus used knock sensors or not). heres a link-

go to the engine swap guide and look around in there.

axles as stated used with intermediate shaft. motor mounts and core mounts can be used ALL four, core mounts mean the part that bolt from the mount to the engine/trans, cable trans will bolt right up assuming you use same clutch disc, yes chipped p28 aftermarket intake and conversion harness will work.
i know this because i have a gsr in my 91 da

Can't really do it all in one day, brah. Chances are you may run into problems. Im almost done restoring my DA. I've been working on it since February. Ran into a lot of problems due to previous owner being careless with the wirings.

i don't mean restoring it all, i am going to pull the motor and all things i need to first, whenever i get my motor i want to drop it in and do it all in one day, i swapped a b16 in my friends ls in a day, and then reswapped a 98 spec ls back in it when his wiring fried

question, do i have to swap dizzy internals, if so why, shouldnt an obd0-obd1 conversion harness allow me to just plug in my distributor as normal?

i guess i dont really know. i have an obd1 da and i didnt want to mess with conversions and all of that. if the plug converts an obd1 dizzy to obd0 then by all means, do that.
heres a little motivation!
