used to have the problem where id blow a fuse for instrument/lic light/tail light because the ash tray light cable was bare from putting the center console in too many times but last night i was driving and out of nowhere the cluster lights went out. i got out of the car to check if i had tail lights and lic light; they were on so i went home. today im starting to work on it now and first thing i checked the fused then swapped an extra cluster i had in my room, which did the same thing.


all the gauges work fine and the alternate lights (cel/brights/seatbelt etc..) but there is no backlighting does anyone know where to start with this problem?
