Default SRS?

When they do state inspection is the srs included or is it independent from the ecu basically the airbags being a visual inspection or will it throw a code and fail, it's a 2000 teg?

SRS has its own ECU behind the center dash console. If there's a malfunction in the system, it will throw a red SRS light (on the cluster) when your car is turned on.

Is your SRS light on? You can jump it from below the passenger side of the dash... I had to do it before when I pulled all my fuses and changed them all...

It's fairly simple and theres a write up around here somewhere...

Why are trying to illegally pass an inspection?

if you take both airbags out it certainly won't pass inspection. in MD you aren't allowed to remove any of your cars factory safety standards. however that MAY be different where you are located but i highly doubt it
