Alright guys i have searched but not found a definitive answer. Im removing my power steering rack and i need to know which MANUAL rack i have to buy to replace it. i dont want to cap lines or do anything else just want to replace racks and whatever else is necessary. Thanks for the help.


P.S. Im trying to get the stuff before i leave work today so help me please.

 

I think most people use the Civic CX rack (EG)

 

Yup and then most people put the quaife steering gears i am pretty sure for more tighter and quicker steering

your also gonna universal joint for the steering shaft because the itr rack rod is a larger diameter then the eg rack rod(i cant think of the right name at the moment for it)

 

pin + onion = pinion
