so its a 94 4dr gsr with a SOHC in it.... i know this is just how i picked it up (i have a gsr swap for it) but when i accelerate onto like highways i hear really fast ticking kinda sounds like lift tick or something. anyone have any ideas?? maybe i new to adjust some of the valve terain on the head??

most likly will be valve tap, especially if its high K.
But could be pinging aswell, So check timing.

 

sounds more like pinging...check timing..if that is right on....try higher grade gas and see if it goes away...

 

bad tank of gas or too much timing. if your engine is burning oil it can coat the chamber and increase compression just enough to cause pinging after enough gets built up.
