Dashboard Fuse Box: What is This Plug-in?
What is the plug-in circled in purple? On my 93 Civic DX (recently purchased; I am the second owner), I have what I think is either an alarm system or some kind of kill switch connecting to the inboard pin of this. The other two pins are blank.
Okay, thanks. This connector's going to the roof is consistent with a diagram I found after posting.
It is a male connector. Would it ordinarily be left without a female connector on a Civic DX, since the DX has no moon roof?
Right now I think the inboard pin is battery voltage (for powering the alarm system relay to which it connects?).
I am removing the alarm/kill switch system. Mostly I want to know if leaving this 3P connector blank will have any negative effects. I think so, but any other insight is welcome.
Hanmin, yes the plug (= the female connector when present) is 3P and brown, per a photograph I found elsewhere. My DX does not have a plug that I can see, though.
Thank you for the info.
