Default blew a strut!!!

so i have tein suspension. i didnt buy it, it came with my car but i know without the EDFC it costs around $1000. i took my car to the shop today bc there was a loose sound almost like metal on metal up in the front right corner. they checked it out and said i blew my strut and said the part would be about $700. and that seems a little ridiculous. i tried to get a hold of Tein but no luck.
has anyone else with tein had to replace their strut??i just need to find this part for cheaper if at all possible!
thanks guys!

i think you need to have them rebuilt. try contacting an official tien dealer and see what they say.

What model Tein's do you have?

For $700 you could buy a hfp suspension.

i really dont know how i blew it... last year i was driving spiritedly down a narrow road and over steered and went almost over a ditch.. amazingly nothing happened but a spider crack in the front bumper and i had to fix my alignment. maybe its a little aftermath of that??

having them rebuilt is your best option unless you want to upgrade to a better setup
