you can but you will have problems with certain sensors. 94eg8 will be able to help you through the process but in simple, yes it will fit.

well the y7 isgoing into the dx. so we was going to just change the manifold over to the y7 and run the obd1 sensors/tb/intake.

I can only assume, especially based on the posts below that this is going in a '93 DX. If this is the case reuse the '93 intake and exhaust manifolds, alternator and distributor (note, the D15B7 distributor is supposed to bolt up to a Y7 head, but i've never personally tried it, if it doesn't swap the CYP/CKP/TDC sensors out the D15B7 distributor into the Y7 case, again though i'm quite sure the whole distributor just bolts on. You will have couple of wires comming from the oil pump for the CKF sensor on the Y7, simply tie them up out of the way.

well we just got the car runnning. swap went good, but the intake mani i believe is a fail. lol. its leaking from a wierd spot. and its hard to explan. but on the 93 dx motor, in the head, has a square hole(im assuming for antifreeze recirculation). the y7 motor has a round hole thats blocked off. and now its leaking there. the y7 dont have the recirculation.
as far as all the other stuff, (sensors, dizzy exhaust) we just transfered to the dx motor.
but for some reason the clutch isnt working. we used the dx slave cyclinder on the y7 tranny. any help? the petal goes straigh to the floor and dont come back up. do i need to bleed the clutch lines?
