which is easier
and which will be more cost effective and most bang for the buck
I'm already planning what I'd like to spend my tax return ... I'm toying with the idea of turboing my d16a or a gsr swap ...
I guess my question is which would I benifit from the most? and over all which one is easier.. I will more than likely end up doing this with 2 friends and a few cases of beer.

turbos are cool if there done right, but a GSR would be pretty sweet too
what goals do you have set? anything in particular?

I don't really race much just the typical street/highway encounter just looking for a little more power I know B series have way more options than a D series but my buddy had a turbo z6 and it was decent.. Honestly I just like the bov lol

well the thing that worries me is I have a d16A its a jdm d16 i heard its equivelent to a z6 .. if I turbo it I was going to build a z6 block and slap my head on it and call it a day .. im not sure how well this will work..
I think id rather turbo it but im not familiar with turbo systems upkeep etc etc ..

I will more than likely go with the gsr it seems for straight forward and less likely i will fug it up lol .. pretty straight forward swap .. mounts shift linkage ecu .. only thing that worries me is wiring .. i've never been good at wiring but i think i should be good as long as i get an obdI gsr ?
that really dont make sense!! spend 2k for 180hp(b series) just swap alone.. or 2k and get a respectable 250-350whp..... you decide... i dont know how rich you are but d series parts are 10 times cheaper and more readily available than b series engines/parts.... just think about it before you get too deep.. i say forget it and boost your d with spray!!!
much more hp per dollar spent!!

this is the kind of feedback im looking for like i said i dont know much about boosting a car i've driven jeeps all my life i dont want to get in over my head .. with a turbo project i can't finish. you make several valid points tho. thx for the input
