On my OBD2 F22b1 I'm contemplating drilling the distributor holes to allow for advancing and retarding the ignition since OBD2 distributors for the F22b1 doesn't come slotted at all unlike the OBD1 F22b1 distributor. I just want to be able to advance or retard my timing when I see fit.
The reason I want to do this is because I'm taking away fuel with my AFC2 and so far I've gained 5mpg, but what is holding me back from more is I'm getting a little bucking from the timing not being advanced enough for the leaner condition.
Will drilling the holes wider on the distributor work for advancing timing?
