Check Engine Light after Swap
So I swapde in my 92 si SOHC engine. Dropped right in all hooked up and purrs like a big kitten (open headers still) but the check engine light is on. It has oil and water and all that and seems to run fine. The VTEC is not conected yet though. Do I need to reset the ECU or something Any ideas? Thanks
well when i did my swap it did the same... but i found out that my O2 sensor is differant than what it needs, so check that out

Post up the code when you read it and we'll help you diagnose the problem from there...
ALSO: If vtec isnt hooked up, then it should throw a CEL.

i recently did a mini me
and i got a 96 ex ecu
plugged it in
but i get a cel code
i hooked the vtec up though
im pretty sure i got the wires right
but on the vtec pressure wire
there are 2 wires
one is ground correct and the other goes to the ecu right?
i thought my ecu was defunct
but it might be that i didnt hook up the vtec correctly
i checked the conections to the ecu with a meter
it has a good connection
but perhaps i hooked it up wrong
anyone know?
