Default ls vtec to b20vtec

okay so my friend bought a hatch with an ls vtec with a spun bearing and he bought a b20 block slapped on the kit and now its leaking oil from the head and block i think he left the dowel plugs in the ls block if he did would it be leaking oil from where the head and block meet? and if someone can help where theres a step by step on installing the golden eagle vtec conversion kit searched all over very vague info.

How many oil?

When I put my B18A block with my B16 head together I forgot to block the oil passage in the head, maybe leaked 1 liter of oil in 5 seconds.

he didn't reuse the head gasket, did he? it would be a good idea to check the oil ports to make sure they were tapped and plugged and teflon taped.
