how did you take your ARP head studs out?

Default how did you take your ARP head studs out?

sorry might sound like a dumb question, but how did you take your ARP head studs out of your block?

i tought it would not be a problem but, it is.

or you can use two of the arp nuts put one upside down on first then screw the next one on as normal then use a wrench on the bottom one

i know that some has the alan wrench thing on the top of the stud, but mine dont have it. i used a vicegrip and still no luck

man no vice grips! youll damage the studs. do the lock nut trick it works.

you sure you did it right?

you loosen the bottom nut while the top nut holds it in place

*Sigh* lock/tighten both nuts together, which actually involves turning one clockwise and one counter clockwise. then turn the bottom nut counter clockwise to remove the stud.

If you used vicegrips you probably already ruined the stud, you can try running a die over it to fix the threads if they don't look really bad.
