I own a 91 integra and I converted from an automatic to 5spd. I also change from an ls head to a gsr head. I no longer have power steering hooked up. My steering wheel has play. If I turn to the left it won't grab until 1/2 of a turn. All i did was drop the colom and bolt it back. Is it a problem because of no power steering or the colom.

well could be both things you have listed but with mine theres a slight amount of play with a looped ps rack.

I just put it down to that you have to push the fluid around yourself instead of the pump so its a bit slower.
