Default Causes of Low Idle

Ever since I took off my TypeOne exhaust, my idle has been a little lower than normal. I used to be at ~800rpm with no accessories on. Now, my needle is ~400rpms. Can loose valves cause low idle?

EDIT - I've tried resetting my ECU and it hasn't done jack

TPS could be off, small vaccum leak, these are all causes of low idle

It might have been coincidence and not the cause but yeah, it happened after I took of the TypeOne exhaust.

I have a similar problem in my car after adjusting the valves. They were excessivly loose. Bringing them back down to spec, the car stalled a couple times. I think I may have had a hot idle problem... I may adjust the idle a bit, I'm not sure yet...
