96 Accord SE, 165K miles, Does anybody know if this a problem or how to re-set? I'm not talking about the little maintenance indicator that you reset with your key. I am concerned whether the light indicates a problem that needs to be addressed. All the fluid levels are OK. The timing belt was changed 6 months ago. I did a few full message body searches and could not find this topic discussed.

 

Your check engine light is on? Go to autozone and get the code pulled.

 

don't forget to write the code down if you dont decide to get what you need to fix it then and there

Your initial post seemed to be talking about a MX reminder light and not a CEL, is this true, you seemed to want to turn it off by inserting your key into the reset keyhole, yes, but it would not turn off for you, is this the issue?
