Default Smells like oil burning, but it's not?

Hey guys, I have a weird problem with my car.

D16Y7, has I/H/E, and a few other stuff (don't worry didn't waste my money bought the car with it ). So the problem is as soon as I turn my car off after driving, it smells like burnt oil. I check my level and it hasn't gone down at all? It smells of burnt oil regardless of if I drive my car hard or shift lightly around 3K. Nothing is burning off the header and the only CEL's the car has is for the cat (which I don't have). What could make it smell like this. Eventually after awhile the oil does go down a little, but not much like it smells like it is. Could it be the valve seals starting to go? A little bit of oil getting dumped into the exhaust could cause that?

BUMP come on guys! I went on a cruise with some friends and we were driving pretty agressive around the windy river bank roads and racing each other and every time I would go with some one and they would pass we they said they could smell burning oil. So at the end of the night I check my oil and it's still right full. Then the next day driving back from my GF's house I opened up 3rd on the highway and half of 4th and got to my house checked the level and still fine! Please guys!

The not having the cat could cause a inproper a/f mixture but idk if that could make it smell like burned oil.

That's actually something I haven't thought of. Thanks. I plan on putting on a Magnaflow cat since my exhaust is destroyed with carbon. It's the first O2 sensor that controls the A/F mixture isn't it? The O2 sensor in the cat doesn't control that?

Well with obd2 it uses both to determine a/f ratios. It uses both to control long and short term fuel trims. Only the obd1 cars use just 1 o2
