ek hatch w/ gsr swap FUEL ISSUE!!!?
ok so i swapped my gsr into my 97 civic hatch and the car cranks over but i checked the fpr and there's no fuel going to the engine. so i checked to hear if the fuel pump was engaging when i turn the key and there was nothing. the fp was perfectly fine before the swap so im guessing it is the relay or the fp is toast.(which is highly unlikely even though the dealer told me it was) someone know where the relay is? im geting really sad
the relay is on the passenger side dash.. open up the passenger side door and look on the side of the dash.. you will see a plastic screw.. unscrew that and pull the covers off.. you will see the relay..
oh my bad. the stock 97 civic dx harness. and i have checked the fuses, and i have gone over the grounds but i will recheck them. there is a small ground towards the intake manifold/tps area tht idk about. the only thing i can think of is wiring really.
oh and i have the head ground, block ground, and the third im assuming is the negative batt? or which is the third your talking about?
make sure your connect everything, check your harness by the ecu there's a green plug make sure it's connected and if it is it might be your main relay and if it's not that than maybe fp!
first look and see if your wires are all connected than switch out main relay and see if you hear the fp
same thing happened to me!
