Default GSR vs LS

i have a bare LS Block and wanting to do a build on it... what pistons can i use? what rods? and what crank?

can i use GSR Rods? How?

what's the difference between the cranks B16, GSR, LS?

I am going to do High Compression build w/ forged internals? Just wanting to know what each setup will do...

Default Re: GSR vs LS (jksmith)

if have a ls block use it

pistons- use pistons for whatever crank your gonna use and if you gonna do ls/vtec you use ls/vtec pistons

rods- get the rods for the crank your gonna use

crank- b16 crank =77mm stroke, gsr crank = 87.2 mm stroke, ls/b20 crank = 89mm stroke

what stock crank will be better , ls/b20 crank will be
